Berry-Beer Popsicles

These refreshing Berry-Beer Popsicles, or Beer-sicles, combine the sweetness of mixed berries with the crispness of beer for a delightful frozen treat.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mixed berries such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup beer preferably light and fruity, such as a wheat beer or pale ale

Instructions:

Use a blender to mix the mixed berries and sugar into a smooth mixture

Mix until it's smooth

If you want to get rid of the seeds, strain the berry mixture through a fine-mesh sieve

Strain the berry puree and then mix it into the beer until everything is well mixed

Put the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving some room at the top for them to rise

Place popsicle sticks inside the molds

Put it in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until it's completely frozen

To take the popsicles out of the molds, run warm water over the outside of them for a short time
